Located at 109 County Road 40 East, Station 1 is the oldest and largest company within the department. Station 1 houses Engine 701, Rescue 702, Ladder 705, Truck 713, Truck 714, Brush 770, and Tanker 781. Station 1 also serves as the headquarters for the department. Station 1’s house was constructed in 1983 and is a three bay tandem parking station. The house has a kitchen area, training room, office space, 2 restrooms and a day area. Station 1 has a first-due response area of all areas north of I-65 and Hwy 31 within the district. Station 1 also provides automatic and mutual-aid response to 7 communities in 3 counties and the Town of Deatsville.
Several times a year, Station 1 house serves as a gathering point for community functions. These include: family reunions and birthday parties. |

Station Lieutenant
Station 1 of the Pine Level Fire Department is headed up by Lt. David Patrick. He is certified as a Fire Fighter II through IFSAC as well as the Department of Defense and is licensed as an EMT-Basic by the Alabama Department of Public Health. He also holds certifications as HAZMAT First Responder, HazMat Technician, Fire Officer I, Incident Safety Officer, Apparatus Operator:Pumper and the National Incident Management System.
Lt Patrick is an active duty veteran of the USAF as a firefighter and is currently in the ALNG as a SSgt at Danelly Field. Lt Patrick works full-time as an FF/EMT for Maxwell AFB in Montgomery, AL. He can be reached at david.patrick@pinelevelfiredept.com. |
