Located at 1563 Highway 31N, Company 2 is the newest station within the department. Station 2 houses Engine 703, Brush 771 and Tanker 782. Station 2 was added in 2010 and is a two bay tandem parking station. The house has a restroom and a day area. Station 2 has a first-due response area of all areas south of I-65 and Hwy 31 within the district. Station 2 also provides automatic and mutual-aid response to 2 communities and the cities of Millbrook and Prattville.

Station 2 was added to address large growth and the addition of territory from the city of Prattville’s decision to cease fire protection within their police jurisdiction.

Station 2 of the Pine Level Fire Department is heading up by Lt. Ernie Smith. His is certified as Fire Fighter II through IFSAC as he is a certified 1st Responder. He also holds certifications for Hazardous Materials Awareness & Operations, Instructor I, Officer I, & Apparatus Operator Mobile Water Supply. Lt. Smith is currently employed with Prattville Truck & RV as the shop foreman.

Lt. Smith is married to Pine Level member Tina Smith. They have 2 daughters, Alison & Elise; 2 sons Shane & Luke. They also have 4 grandchildren.
