Medium Rescue/Service Truck 713
Currently housed at Station 1, Truck 713 is a 1994 EVI walk-in rescue. This apparatus was purchased in 2009 from Tuscaloosa Fire Equipment and placed into service later that year. Truck 713 is capabale of transporting 6 personnel to scenes. The truck carries 6 Scott SCBA, spare bottles and cascade system. The truck also carries all ISO required hand tools and ladders and is equipped with a generator and ventilation fans. It has HAZMAT response equipment and serves as a command post and rehab station.
713 has a first due response area for all areas of the district and responds to all structural fires, HAZMAT incidents and investigations in that area. In addition, 713 responds to all mutual-aid responses.
